If you are invited to complete a full application, Houston Endowment staff members have determined that your idea may align with Houston Endowment’s current priorities, and we are interested in learning more.
Submitting a Full Application
Organizations may be invited by one of our program officers to submit a full application via GivingData. Prepare to complete a full application by:
- Previewing information requested.
- Reviewing our application guide, which contains detailed instructions on how to access GivingData, create and manage login credentials, and troubleshoot issues.
- Logging on to the GivingData portal.*
Applicants will receive an acknowledgment via email confirming receipt of online submissions. The foundation will contact applicants to request any additional information needed.
*Note: Only previously invited applicants or active grantees will be able to log in.
typical FULL APPLICATION REVIEW PROCESS
The program team and foundation leadership review requests for funding. Then, the board of directors considers funding recommendations during three grantmaking board meetings each year, typically in February, June, and October.
Within a few days after each grantmaking board meeting, foundation staff members notify all applicants about funding decisions.
An invitation to complete a full application does not guarantee funding.
Due to the large number of requests, staff members are not able to provide feedback about declined grant requests after a funding decision has been made.
