J. Philip Ferguson

Philip Ferguson has over fifty years of experience in the asset management business, including leadership roles at Teacher Retirement System of Texas, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, and AIM Capital Management.

As CIO at AIM, he was responsible for the stewardship of $100 billion of assets managed by 90 investment professionals. He served for nine years on the Board of Directors of ABM Industries, a NYSE-listed Fortune 500 company, and was a member of both the Audit and Governance Committees. He was on the governing boards of the Investment Advisor Association and the University of Texas Investment Management Co. (UTIMCO), where he was Vice Chair and head of the Compensation Committee. He currently has investment oversight responsibilities at a major Family Office in Texas and the Endowment Fund for a federally recognized Indian Tribe in California.

Philanthropically, he has served on the Boards of UTHealth, Houston Ballet, and the Investment Committee for Museum of Fine Arts Houston and Texas Health Resources. He holds a BBA from Texas Christian University, a J.D. from The University of Texas Law School, and a certificate in International Law from the City of London College.
