Brita Blesi

Evaluation Officer

Brita supports Houston Endowment and community partners in improving program results through evaluation. She thrives on finding and sharing meaningful answers to questions about how programs can be more effective. Approachable, inclusive, and culturally responsive evaluation is at the heart of her approach.

She is passionate about evaluation as a tool to improve people’s lives. She co-led the Twin Cities Affordable Housing Research Collaborative to advance insights toward improving housing stability for individuals with criminal backgrounds. She also helped develop an evaluation framework used by the State of Minnesota to increase opportunities for historically disenfranchised communities to participate in public policy development.

A native Minnesotan, Brita is discovering Houston through outdoor adventures, exploring trails, and sampling brews from the city’s tap rooms.

Brita holds a Master of Arts in clinical psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Argosy University. She also holds a certificate in Program Evaluation from the University of Minnesota.
